THE OXFORD MEDICAL LECTURE CLUB

THE OXFORD MEDICAL LECTURE CLUB

DELIVERING THE OXFORD MEDICAL LECTURE CLUB SERIES

  • OMLC members meet about once a month at St Hugh's College or elsewhere within the University.

  • The OMLC supports ten annual lectures, (see past talks given below) to Oxford Medical Alumni, other Medics with an Oxford connection and related health care professionals including those teaching future clinical students in Oxford, and medical students are very welcome.

  • We offer light refreshments prior to the lecture, which provides an opportunity for socialising and catching up with former colleagues and friends.

  • There is also a lively post lecture Q&A to discuss the wide variety of talks.

  • For members who cannot attend a meeting in person it is streamed live on Zoom and (with the permission of the Speakers) is recorded and posted on the Lecture club website for later viewing (see below).

  • The lectures are mainly held at St Hugh’s College, Oxford but all details for each lecture and the recordings that are available will be found below on this page.
